He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Thurman and Mary Thurman (Perrone); and his close friend Andrea Shrenkle. He is survived by: his sons, John Thurman Jr. (Bobbie) and Stephen Thurman (Dianne); his siblings, Janice Kichler, Carol Thomas and Robert Thurman (Kelly); and his pet Joan Shrenkle.
