She was predeceased by: her parent James Wofford; and her brothers, Charles Jr. and James Wofford, Jr.. She is survived by: her parent Essie Lee Wofford (Rice); her spouse Howard "Hugo" Hughes, Sr.; her son Coley Brown of Meadville; her grandchildren, Marquis, Shakeal, Nautical, Jaquai, Naja, Rakim and Taryne; her great grandchildren, Briella and Zamiyah; and her siblings, Ida Jefferson (Sam), Alice Wofford, Erie, Cordie Wofford of Meadville and Elvis Wofford of Meadville. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Beacon Liberty Street Temple Church of God in Christ, 11292 Liberty St. Ext., Meadville, PA 16335.
