He was predeceased by: his parents, Blaine C. Watson and Thora Watson (Davis); his wife Betty Hall; his sons, Robert and Daniel Watson; and his brothers, Robert Watson, George Schmitt (Skeeter) and Howard Schmitt (Herk).
He is survived by: his son David M. Watson (Janet) of Saegertown; his grandsons, David Watson, Jr., Steven Watson (Shannon) and Jonathan Watson; and his brother Ralph "Jim" Watson of Saegertown. He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews.
