He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Mercier and Jeanne Mercier of Saegertown. He is survived by: his children, Aimée Mercier Farley (Kevin) of Fairfield, Iowa and Gary Keeley; his grandchildren, Kensley Keeley of Ft. Collins, Colorado and Corrie Keeley of Ft. Collins, Colorado; his former wife Nancy Kerr Walker of Santa Fe; his sisters, Michelle Mercier of Denver, Jeanne Mercier of Conneaut Lake and Rita Mercier Getchell (Warren) of Cochranton; his nephew Adin Hamilton (Ashlea); and his nieces, Laina Hamilton Aquiline (Matt) and Gretta Hamilton Meeker (Nick).
