With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Earl Acker of Saegertown, Pennsylvania, born in Meadville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 16, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Acker and Mabel Acker (Taylor). He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peg" Brown; his daughters, Vanessa Hopkins (Junior) of Meadville, Rhonda Acker of Saegertown, Cindy Winters (Bill) of Maryville, TN and Mary Margaret Crum (Tim) of Saegertown; his grandchildren, Justin E. Miller (Natalie), Jay M. Miller (Tabitha), Bobbi J. Powell (Mark), Morgan M. Winters, Brooke A. Ford (Stone), Tiffany R. Darling, David L. Darling III (Nicole), Brandon L. Crum (Ashley) and Hannah A. Crum; his great grandchildren, Isaiah, Jayce, Remy, Will, Finley, Olivia, Stone, Rosalynd, Emaleigh, Griffin and Zoe; and his siblings, Patty Wybiral (Walt) of Amarillo, TX and Daniel Acker (Beverly) of Saegertown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid, private services will be held with Pastor Jeff Little of Saegertown United Methodist Church officiating.
