With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Earl Atkin of Saegertown, Pennsylvania, born in Erie, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 30, 2024 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Atkin and Iris Atkin (Oyler); his siblings, Curt Atkin and Karen Starcher; and his nephew Jeremy Atkin.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Hunter; his son Chad Atkin of North East, PA; his granddaughters, Charlene Crosby (Adam) of North Dakota and McKenna Atkie of Erie; and his siblings, Wilbur "Cork" Atkin of Texas, Dennis Atkin (Valerie) of North Carolina, Dale Atkin (Renee) of Venango, PA, Denise Rodger (Bill) of South Carolina, Doris Atkin Troutner of Cambridge Springs, PA and Margaret Atkin of Cambridge Springs, PA. He is also survived by three great granddaughters.
