She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Jacklett and Anna Jacklett (Kinderatter); her husband Donald L. Nichol; her siblings, Louis Jacklett and Helen Bretschneider; and her brother-in-law Granville "Barney" Briggs.
She is survived by: her children, John Shaffer, Jr. (Anna) of Chicago, IL, Cherrel Butler (Michael) of Saegertown, Kristine Howles (Donald) of Guys Mills, Jeffrey Nichol of Saegertown, Scott Nichol (Stephanie) of Export, PA, Dyanne Kiter of Cochranton, Susan Gionti (Michael) of Meadville and Peggy Hasko (Evan) of Meadville; and her siblings, Arthur Jacklett (Marlene) of Meadville and Doris Briggs of Saegertown. She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
