She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Johnston and Esther Boyd Johnston; her husband Richard Palmer; her sons, Joseph Elwood Palmer and Daniel Earl Palmer; and her brothers, Edward Johnston and Walter Johnston.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Palmer (Jackie), Tammy Marie Palmer, Debra Ann Carpenter (Jeffrey) and Linda Mae Palmer; her brothers, James Johnston (Arlene) and Robert Johnston (Marilyn); and her sister-in-law Judy Johnston. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
