She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Kozak and Verna Kozak (Pleskoff); her husband Benjamin Cortese; her daughter Alice Cortese; and her siblings, Sally Pisonich, George, John and Peter Kozak.
She is survived by: her children, Cathleen Cortese (Nello Zoccki) of Chesapeake, VA, Mark Cortese (Lisa) of Placentia, Calif, Diane Olar (Jeff) of Herman, Alan Cortese and Benjamin Cortese of Penn Hills. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
