Jacob Pompe Jr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jacob Pompe Jr. of Russellton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 9, 2020 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob J. and Helen Pompe, Sr. (Primozic); his wife Frances L. Pompe (Locke); and his siblings, Frank Pompe, Richard "Gil" Pompe and Josephine Pompe.
He is survived by: his children, Janet E. Pompe, Jeffrey Pompe (Kathy) of Seabrook, SC, James R. Pompe (Judith A.) of Russellton and William Pompe (Virginia C.) of West Deer; his grandchildren, Jason Pompe (Colleen), Karen Gilbert (Ben), Jessica Pompe and Amanda Pompe; his great grandchildren, Jack Gilbert and Cora Pompe; his siblings, Rose Marie Wadding (Richard) of Houston, TX, Helen A. Yaworski (Edward) of Russellton and Raymond Pompe (Patricia) of Greentree; and his sister-in-law Esther Pompe of Russellton. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Due to the Covid pandemic a private graveside service was held at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Township, where he was laid to rest next to his wife, with full military honors.
