She was predeceased by: her parents, Steven and Johanna Karan Sr. (Presiak); her husband Paul C. Koziol; and her siblings, Anna Fender, Barbara Camp, Sophie Boyle, Theodore, George, Steven and Milan Karan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judith A. Sims (Robert) of Brackenridge, Marie K. Grzybek (Ronald) of Lower Burrell and Paula K. Figgs (Thomas) of Williamsburg, VA; her grandchildren, Christa Rocabado (Ludwig), Jamie Bastine (Keith), Casey Seaman (Jeffrey), Hannah, Jeffrey and Benjamin Figgs; her great grandchild Kaley Bastine; and her sisters, Dorothy Kurtiak of Pittsburgh and Mildred "Mickey" Makara of Lower Burrell.
