He is survived by: his wife Kathryn N. Makuta (Hodges); his children, Brian J. Makuta (Julie) of Glenshaw and Pamela M. Cortopassi (Sean) of Manassas Park, VA; and his granddaughters, Felicity Makuta and Cecilia Makuta.
