With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Joseph Raines Sr. of Russell, Pennsylvania, born in Canton, Ohio, who passed away on August 31, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl William and Cecelia Magerl Raines; his daughter Lisa Marie Raines; and his siblings, Jean, Roseann Raines, Patricia Satow and Robert Raines.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Lucille Carter Raines; his children, William Joseph Raines Jr. (Cheryl) of Northeast, PA, Curtis John Raines (Barb) of Millcreek, PA, Matthew Earl Raines (Shellie) of Scandia, PA and Jennifer Michelle Raines of Scandia, PA; his grandchildren, Ryan, Lindsey, Eric, Zachary, Dylan and Cody Raines; and his sisters, Diane Myers (Jim) of Arizona and Carolyn Ion (Mike) of Erie, PA. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
