We are sad to announce that on October 23, 2019, at the age of 89, James E. Nesmith Sr. (Russell, Pennsylvania), born in Corry, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Osro "Red" Nesmith and Romina Kelley Nesmith; his grandparents, Willard and Genevieve Kelley; his wife Phyllis Armitage Nesmith of Russell; his children, Katherine Nesmith Irwin (Edwin) and James Nesmith, Jr. (Deborah) of Tallahassee, FL; his grandchildren, James Irwin, Sarah Irwin Frederick (Jamie), Jefferson, Danielle and Andrew Nesmith; and his great grandchildren, Isaac, Selah Irwin and Alex Frederick.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, the Cure Alzheimer's Fund, the Russell United Methodist Church, or a charity of choice.
