With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Charles Johnson of Russell, Pennsylvania, born in Warren, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 1, 2024 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Johnson and Blanche Gage Jonhson; and his brothers, Curtis and Allen Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Marsha VanVliet; his sons, David C. Johnson of Russell, PA and Nicholas W. Johnson (Carla) of Warren, PA; his siblings, Milton Johnson (Karen) of Russell, PA, Terry Johnson of Russell, PA and Shirley Holt (Ted) of Russell, PA; his grandchildren, Seth Johnson (Leah) and Amanda Johnson (Bryan) of Oil City, PA; and his great grandchild Emery Johnson of New Castle, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
