He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Thompson and Cecelia Anderson Thompson; his former wife Gayle Wade Thompson; and his children, Melissa Ann Thompson, Pamela Martin and Wade C. Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Lynne Morley Thompson; his daughter Margo Paul (David) of Warren, PA.; his foster brother Gary Truitt of Maiden, N. C.; and his sister Janet "Dutch" Kemery of Russell, PA.. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
