Backstrom of Volant, PA and James W. Backstrom of Russell, PA; her grandsons, Dandridge J. Scott Jr., Ethan Z. Backstrom and Donald L. Backstrom; her husband Donald L. Backstrom; her sister Joyce Y. Tunall; and her grandson Randy S. Scott. She was also cherished by nine great grandchildren; one great great grandson; one niece; and one nephew.
The family suggests donations in memory of Carol be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 445 Conewango Ave. Warren, PA, and the Russell Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, 111 Perrigo Lane, Russell, PA.
