He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry E. Artman and Pauline Artman (Myers); and his wife Karen E. Artman (Claypoole). He is survived by: his sister Terri Wells (Tom) of Ross Twp; his children, Elaine DePastino (Steve), Buffalo Twp, Roy Cornetti of New Mexico, Valerie Shane (Michael) of Arnold and Brenda Thimons (Richard) of Brackenridge; his sister-in-law Brenda Wyant (David); and his cousins, Fred and Ginny Claypoole. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to National Wildlife Foundation.
