He was predeceased by: his father Edgar Erwin Bowser; his brother William Bowser; his nephew Luke McNitt; and his brother-in-law Robert Burke. He is survived by: his mother Constance Bowser of Craigsville; his significant other Anthony "Tony" Shearer; and his siblings, Pamela Burke of Craigsville, Kimberly McNitt of Port St, Robert Yeany of Hadley and Deborah Floyd of Kittanning.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, a Celebration of Edgar's Life will be held at a later date.
