Donald L. Silvis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald L. Silvis (Rural Valley, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 27, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace F. Silvis and Ilene B. Silvis (Shick); and his brother-in-law Merle Early. He is survived by: his wife Mary Elko Silvis (Hill); his daughters, Dr. Jennifer L. Silvis (Brett J. Smith) of Sidman and Nicole Laskowsky (Mickey) of Pittsburgh; his stepchildren, Michelle Lybarger (Doug) of Rural Valley, Mark Elko (Tracy) of Chambersburg and Melissa Olinger (Jarrod) of Kittanning; his grandchildren, Jessica Melton, Alyssa Lybarger, Derek Lybarger, Mace Elko, Bryce Olinger and Ethan Kolodziej; his great grandchild Titan Melton; and his siblings, Duane Silvis (Melanie) of Kittanning, Thelma Early of Kittanning and Beverly Groft (Bob) of Shippenville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
