With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joel A. Barko Sr. (Ruffs Dale, Pennsylvania), born in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 15, 2020 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joel A. Barko Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Anthony Barko and Pauline Elizabeth Keck (Sinkovec); and his wife Clara Mae "Tame" Barko (Bowman). He is survived by: his children, Joel Anthony Barko (Linda) of Bullskin Township, Lisa Ann Fox (Tim Dillinger) of Mt. Pleasant, Joey Barko of Charleston, S. C. and Kathy Dill (Henry "Pickle" Dill) of Ruffs Dale; his grandchildren, Dan Fox of Connellsville, Kayla Barko of Bullskin Township, Devin Fox (Brittany) of Glenshaw and Kelly Barko of Pittsburgh; his sister Nancy Brashear of Belle Vernon; his stepsister Regina Feniello (Bob) of Connellsville; and his half-siblings, Margie Halkowitz (Ron) of Brownsville and Dennis Barko (Pam) of Bullskin Township. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
