It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Smith of Ruffs Dale, Pennsylvania, born in Smithton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 15, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Jackson Byers and Edna Josephine Slaughter Byers; and her husband Robert Earl Smith, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Ronald K. Smith (Cheryl) of Scottdale, Brenda Joyce Fahie (Roan) of Killeen, TX, Donald K. Smith (C. J.) of Mt Pleasant, Edward P. Smith of Ruffs Dale, Robert Earl Smith, Jr., David Smith and Barbara E. Smith; and her sisters, Mary I. Byers and Ethel Byers Keller. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
