He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Anne Mitchell (Hageman); his sister Margaret "Peg" Reitnour; his daughter Susan Weber; and his granddaughter Emily Weber. He is survived by: his brother Hugh Lawrence (Marietta); his children, Darah Filidore (Douglas), Robert Mitchell Jr. (Shannon), Maureen Mitchell (Bob) and Ellen Navitsky (Leonard); his son-in-law Albert Weber; his son James Gleim (Leslie); his grandchildren, Lea, Nathan Filidore, Simone, Robert Mitchell, Daniel, A. Jay, Julia Acker, Michael, Laura Navitsky, Luke Weber and Zachary Gleim; and his great grandchildren, Ruhi Acker, Alden Navitsky, Emma, Ivy Weber, Chloe, Bella, Willow and Oakley Gleim.
