He was predeceased by: his wife Arlene; and his brothers, Howard, Donald and Carl DeWalt. He is survived by: his children, Carol Adelsberger, Sue Latch and Richard C. DeWalt Jr.; his siblings, Janet Irey and Glenn DeWalt (Millie); and his sister-in-law Dottie DeWalt. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
