He is survived by: his daughters, Rebecca Lynn Kovach (James Joseph Kovach) and Terri Lynn Smith; his grandsons, Jeremy James Kovach, Tyler Allen Smith and Thomas Jarred Smith; and his siblings, Charles Patrick O'Neal and Rosa Marie DeFransico (Anthony).
