He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin B. Hershey and Alma L. Rohrer Hershey; his son Rodney Joseph Hershey; and his brother Philip Lynn Hershey. He is survived by: his children, Becky McGuire (Rob) of Fredericksburg, VA, Bethany Hershey Wang (Yubo) of Baltimore, MD and James R. Hershey; his siblings, Fred Rohrer Hershey (Mildred) of Huntsville, AL, Connie Marie Knight (Russell) of Coudersport and Sherri Ann Gilbert (Jeff) of Ephrata; and his sister-in-law Laurel Hershey of Coudersport. He is also survived by her children; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
