He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter A. Chastain and Evelyn E. Nelson Chastain; his wife Cindy A. Patterson; and his daughter Suzy Chastain. He is survived by: his sons, Scott A. Chastain of Pittsburgh, PA, Jake F. Chastain of Edinboro, PA and Eric K. Chastain; and his siblings, Dale A. Chastain (Debbie) of Port Allegany, Patrick H. Chastain (Michelle) of Port Allegany, Carol L. Rose of Port Allegany, Greta M. Tanner (Thomas) of Knox, PA, Pamela R. Keys of Dubois, PA, Linda D. Gustafson (Mark) of Port Allegany and Mary E. Unser (Kelly) of Evansville, IN. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
