She was predeceased by: her parents, T. Frank J. Carey and Mildred Carey (Tracy); her husband Wayne Knowlton, Jr.; her son Joel D. Knowlton; and her siblings, Rachel Kenyon, Mary Whitehair, Albert and Arch Carey.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Adair (Knowlton) of Roulette, PA, John Knowlton of El Reno, OK and James Knowlton of Roulette, PA; her grandchildren, Jennifer Galdon (Chris) of Erie, PA, William Adair (Barbara) of Lock Haven, PA, Jill Stiteler (Jason) of Pittsburgh, PA, Heather Norris (Robert) of Oklahoma City, OK and Nicole Dunn (Christopher) of Bradford, PA; her great grandchildren, Mackenzie Galdon, Kenley Galdon, Tyler Adair, Trevor Adair, Elliot Stiteler and Isaac Stiteler; and her sister Jean Rennells (Carey) of Jacksonville, FL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
