He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Leroy, Sr. and Lois Jean McKown Dougherty; and his sister Diane "Murph" Dougherty. He is survived by: his wife Judy Ann Gall Dougherty; his children, Chad R. Dougherty (Holly) of McCandless Twp, Carrie Wood (Martin) of Columbia, SC and Catie Tomaino (David) of Coal Center, PA; his grandson Austin Schmitt; his children, Ryan Dougherty, Andrew Dougherty, Charlotte Wood, Gabriella "Gigi" Wood, Mason Tomaino and Layla Tomaino; and his siblings, Paul Dougherty (Ruth) of Greenock, PA, Linda Russum (Tom) of Elizabeth Twp, Penny Edwards of Yukon, PA and Jo Ann Wright (Will) of Herndon, VA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
