She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Sabol and Elizabeth Sabol (Saxon); and her daughter Elizabeth Ann Jespersen. She is survived by: her husband Martin Jespersen; her daughter Alyssa Jespersen; and her siblings, Joyce Kopanic (William) of Donora, Mary Brooks (Aaron) of Dumfries, VA and Thomas Sabol (Deborah) of Monongahela.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
