She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Mehalik (Mihalich) and Mary Mehalik (Banyas); her husband Jack Edward McKita; her son John Edward McKita; and her siblings, Mildred Furio, Matilda Mehalik and John Mehalik.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis McKita (Deborah) of Rostraver Twp and Tom McKita (Adele) of Donora; her grandchildren, Adam, Jesse (Amanda), Krysta (Steve), Josh (Kelsey), Jillian (Steve), Jacob and Blake; and her great grandchildren, Ellie, Adam II, Della, Lola, Reese and McKenzi. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc. (40 2nd Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033). A prayer was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Andrew the Apostle Parish (1 Park Rd, Donora, PA 15033).
