He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hruby and Johanna Hruby (Bazach); his children, Emil Hruby and Laura Lee Kershey; and his siblings, William, Robert, Paul, Edward, David, John, Sylvester, Alfred Hruby, Margaret Benczo, Velma Galiffa, Florence Huntoon and Mary Patik.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Hruby; his daughter Elaine Hruby; his grandchildren, Andrew Kershey and Emily Kershey; his brothers, Arthur Hruby (Donna) and Raymond Hruby (Georgie); and his close friend Kimba.
