He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Blair and Arietta Archer Hinderliter (Rugh); his son Cash Elliott Hinderliter; his brother Donald Hinderliter; and his son-in-law Timothy Siverling.
He is survived by: his children, Candice Alvetro (Hinderliter) of DuBois, Zina Siverling of Rossiter and Duane Hinderliter Sr. of Punxsutawney; his sister Wanda Knarr (Edwin) of Michigan; and his grandchildren, Jessica Hinderliter of Erie, Brandi Burdick (John) of DuBois, Duane Hinderliter (Nikki), Knoxdale, Justin Snelick of DuBois, Amber Barrnoff (Dale) of Punxsutawney, Kie Brown of Rossiter, Drake Marie (Amber Bogacki) of DuBois and Jayden Lee of DuBois. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.
