He is survived by: his children, Paula Elbel of Indiana, Donald J. Elbel of Punxsutawney, Beth Giroskey (David) of Punxsutawney and Joy Elbel of DuBois; his grandchildren, Jennifer Hill (Jack), Donald E. Elbel, Sr. (Heather), Tyler and Evan Giroskey; his great grandchildren, Donald E. Elbel, Jr. and Tavia Henry; and his brothers, George Elbel (Norma) of Elba, NY and Bill Elbel (Jo) of Houston, TX..
