He was predeceased by: his parents, William Blaine Lunger and Alice Mary Lunger (Stoops); his daughter Judy Sprankle; and his siblings, Gladys Spencer, Paul, Charles, Leroy, Claire, Ralph and Norman Lunger.
He is survived by: his former wife Barbara LaRue Lydic; his wife Barb; his children, Donald T. Lunger of Punxsutawney and Shirley Ebersole of Lansing, Michigan; his grandchildren, Jonathan Sprankle, Donald Sprankle and Kristen Reynolds; his great grandchildren, Kaden and Samantha Sprankle; and his sister Margie Bishop (George) of Brookville.
