He was predeceased by: his son William J. Moltz (Carol); his parents, Joseph Moltz and Helen Moltz; and his brother Joseph W. Moltz. He is survived by: his wife Anna C. Moltz (Pawlowski); his children, Anna C. Harrold, Christine F. Moltz, Daniel S. Williams, Adrienne Grguras (Michael), Gabriella Leigh and Theodorus Michael; and his sibling-in-law Beverly Killian. He is also survived by four nieces and two nephews.
