Rettger of Ross Township, Pennsylvania, born in Saint Marys, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 17, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Rettger and Margaret Breindel Rettger; his wife Beatrice Rettger; and his siblings, Marie, Margaret, Gertrude Brechtel (Arthur), Agnes Buchheit (Earl), Theresa Knouse (Keith), Vincent (Anna) of Fr Emmeran, OSB, George (Isabel), Charles (Edith), Leo (Kathryn), Benedict (Esther) and Joseph (Anne).
He is survived by: his son Matthew Rettger (Nancy); and his grandchildren, Christine, Andy and Rachel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
