He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sipes and Anna Sipes; his wife Eileen Juanita Sipes; and his brother William Sipes (Richard Sipes). He is survived by: his children, Eileen Sipes (Sam), Gloria J. Sipes, Nancy L. Sipes, Jamie A. Rusak, James A. Sipes, Jr. and Roy S. Sipes; his grandchildren, Jim "Tank" Rusak, Jordan Rusak and Shauna Sipes; his great grandchildren, Haven, Faith, Hope, Holden, Ethan, Shaylin, Skyler, Brayden, Alajah, Allie and Callen; and his sisters, Dorothy Parker and Anname.
