She was predeceased by: her father Frank Darges. She is survived by: her children, Valerie Hess (Dean), Dan Barthel (Donna) and Tom Barthel (Cindy); her grandchildren, Nathan Hess (Rachel), Molly Hess, Nicole Barthel and Alli Barthel; her mother Anna Darges; her aunt Margaret "Tat" Rutkauskas; and her brother Edward Darges (Patricia). She is also survived by her nephews and her niece.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, 1000 Avila Court, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
