It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Fitzmyer of Rosemont, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 26, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Fitzmyer and Anna Fitzmyer; and his siblings, Joseph A. Fitzmyer, Jr., SJ, Florence Griffin and Marie Dougherty.

He is survived by: his wife Marie A. Fitzmyer. He is also survived by family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Villanova University Engineering Fund.
