He was loved and cherished by many people including: his pet German Shepherd; his parents, James Talmadge and Ann Chalker Bergen; his brothers, John Bergen (Suzie) of Rossville, GA, James Bergen Elkins Park (Shelly Rubin) and Thomas Bergen (Jan Loeffler); his children, Kristin Philadelphia and David (Brenda Rotheiser); his granddaughter Lilly of Chicago; his great-niece Emma; and his great-nephew Andy of Falls Church, VA..
