He was predeceased by: his parents, Elijah T. Gauden and Margaret Bell Gauden Jr.; his sisters, Wanda L. McGarry and Janet E. Cox; and his nephew Steven J. Hotz.
He is survived by: his siblings, Debra Palfrey of Elkton, M. D., Bonnie Hotz of Brick, N. J., Bridget Gauden of Roscoe, Denise Fink (Jerry) of South Park, Samuel Gauden of Cleveland, O. H. and James Gauden of Roscoe. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
