He is survived by: his wife Ginny (Densmore); and his children, Thomas Downes (Patty), Kathleen, Samuel Downes (GayLynn) and Jennifer Todd (Terry). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
