Carey Athey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carey Athey (Roscoe, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 26, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carey Garland Athey and Rebecca Athey (Dodson); his former wife Joan Rodgers Athey; his sisters, Helen Jenkins and Dorothy Nance; and his siblings-in-law, Marico Athey, Lane Greene and Edward Rodgers.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Athey; his daughters, Theresa Athey of Erie, PA, Jackie Kotowski (Steve) of Fredericksburg, VA and Dona Keith (Larry) of Beaumont, TX; his stepchildren, Robert Schmidt (Cindy) of Roscoe, PA and Diane Martin (Wayne) of Roscoe, PA; and his sisters, Roberta Greene and Loretta Bowen (Randolph). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter and brother-in-law.
