He is survived by: his wife Anna Maria Ficorella; his children, Franco (Lisa Carlucci) of Princeton, N. J. and Adriana (Alessandro Giorgi) of Rome; his grandchildren, Livia, Ludovico and Matilde; and his sister Rina of Milan.
