With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Trout Souder (Rome, Pennsylvania), born in Vanceburg, Kentucky, who passed away on December 22, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Trout Sr. and Anna Urban Trout; her husband Robert Souder; her daughter Marilee Souder Cooke; and her grandchildren, Jordan Swisher and Hazel Lu O'Connor.
She is survived by: her children, Anne Swisher (David), Sara Brannaka (Gordon), Joan O'Connor (Louie), Carl Souder (Jenifer), Tony Souder (Phyllis) and David Souder (Debbie); and her son-in-law Mike Cooke. She is also survived by 7 children, 22 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that all memorial contributions be directed to the North Rome Wesleyan Church, 3376 N. Rome Road, Rome, PA 18837.
