Marjorie Shores Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Shores of Rome, Pennsylvania, born in Towanda, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 11, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Simons and Lela VanSice Bates; her spouse Llewellyn Shores; her stepfather William Bates; her siblings, Cleone Foote, Mildred Bates and Carl Simons; her close friend Claude Clark; and her siblings-in-law, Edward, Lavern, Norman Shores, Donald Manvell and Frances Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald Shores (Diane) of Tunkhannock, PA, Sharon Wiggins (Carlton) of Stevensville, PA and Crystal Hunsinger (Rob Roof) of Wysox, PA; and her grandchildren, Sheri Finnerty, Brian Wiggins, Jason Shores, David Shores, Vanessa Sheriff, Teri Lynn Shores, Willie Hunsinger and Melissa Blaisure. She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren.
