It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Allyn Sonneborn (Rogersville, Pennsylvania), who passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Meyer R. Sonneborn and Lena Loreen Fisher Sonneborn; his brother Meyer Robert Sonneborn Jr.; and his niece Kelly Christine Sonneborn. He is survived by: his significant other Marcia Elaine McMillen Sonneborn; his daughter Mikayla Loreen Sonneborn of New Orleans, LA.; his brother Arthur Aaron Sonneborn; his close friend Angela Huffman; his sister Stephanie Allyson Sonneborn Hill of Wind Ridge, PA; and his sister-in-law Linda Sonneborn of Waynesburg, PA. He is also survived by three nieces, and four nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home (3275 W Roy Furman Hwy, Sycamore, PA 15359). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
