She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Carter and Nelle Carter (Riggs) of Bristoria, PA.; and her brothers, Donnie and Dale Carter. She is survived by: her husband Melvin Strope; her children, Mary Strope (Stephen Jobes) of Cameron, WV, Ruth Williams (Billy) of Sevierville, TN and Rodney Strope of Waynesburg, PA; her grandchildren, Jonathan Ross (Devon) of Ryerson, PA, Garth King of Mountain City, TN, Kendra Lethco (Andy) of Sevierville, TN, Tabitha Smith (William) of Kodak, TN, Sierra Campbell (Adam Crawford) of Jollytown, PA and Tyson Williams of Sevierville, TN; her great grandchildren, Marilyn, Bryce King-Molloy, Haylin, Maddie Smith, Elaina Daugherty, Lily Crawford, Saphira, Keelan, Remington Ross and Lincoln Lethco; her sister-in-law Janet Carter of Folsom, WV; and her cousins, Barb Carter-Herring, Joy Carter-Anderson, Judy Carter-Beresford and Anna Marie Simms.
