He was predeceased by: his spouse Sonja "Sonnie" Mong. He is survived by: his children, Michele Butkiewicz (Frank) of Crosby, Texas, Rusty Mawhinney (Johna) of Bayfield and Benjamin Mawhinney (Nicole) of Cooperstown; his siblings-in-law, Sally Burrows of Bayfield and Thomas Mong (Sarah) of Brazoria; and his granddaughters, Kimberly, Carrie Butkiewicz of Crosby, Elizabeth and Abigail Mawhinney of Cooperstown.
